Micromax launched the upgraded version of their Canvas 2 smart phone months back, with Quad Core Processor and 1 GB RAM, called as Canvas 2 Plus aka Micromax Canvas A110Q, Gadgets Freak undertook the Hands On Review of the Micromax Canvas 2 Plus, please note reviews on other sites, reviews are just based on handset's technical specification, whereas here you read a Hands On Review - which means we used the product for 10-15 days and then we put a unbiased review.
We must say that the Fastest Got Faster, and Best Selling Phone got better, as the old Canvas 2 Had Dual Core processor with 512 MB RAM, Here we have got 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor with 1 GB RAM for lightening fast performance.
A110q had Screen resolution of 480 x 854 pixles which is OK, not very good as this is not qHD, ideally in this price range there has to qHD resolution.
We have never observed a hang / lag in the use of last 15 days with the phone fully loaded with many games. So processing is really cool.
If we talk about sound quality it's good, speaker sound is bit less, but OK in office environment.
8 Mega Pixel rear camera is really good at capturing images in low light as it has Dual LED Flash.
Battery is powerful on one charge you can play games almost whole day and without games it last more than 24 hours.
So if you are looking for a Smart Phone in the range of 10K then Gadget Freak recommends this phone.

Please do not buy any product of MICROMAX. Before doing so please once visit the service center of the same company near by your home town. You will find the stupid behavior of the micromax staff, unresolved mobile problems and minimum a que of 150 people a day. I have used A89 new just for two months and then it started giving problems like battery over heating, charger not working and till the date I am trying to repair it by giving to outsiders eventhough still my mobile is in warranty period just to get it ON at-least and yet failed to do so. Its complicated and stopped working. I have seen and heard many others abusing after buying miromax any mobile.
