Samsung Galaxy Core Android based smartphone launched for Rs 15,350/-

Samsung has just released their new Sub 15K category smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Core, which is available at Rs 15,350 on samsung india e store. Samsung India E Store is accepting pre booking for the White color variant of Galaxy Core, where as rest of the online retailers show Blue color in coming soon tag.


Samsung Galaxy Core is a Dual SIM Dual Active Smart phone with 4.3 Inch Full Capacitive Touch screen, it has screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, which comes out to be 217 in ppi, that is pixels per inch which is OK. It has 1.2 Ghz Dual Core processor under the hood, with 1 GB RAM, it runs Samsung's own touch wiz interface on the top of Android 4.1 which is Jelly Bean 4.1

In term of internal memory it has 8 GB, which can be further expandable to 32 GB with Micro SD card, if we look at camera options it has 5 Mega Pixel Auto Focus camera with LED flash at the back and on the front it has VGA camera which is 0.3 Mega Pixel, on the connectivity options it has WiFi, Bluetooth, USB & A GPS.

It has 1800 mAH battery. Also as we told you that it is Dual Active, which means if you are using SIM1 and you are In-Call, you will still receive call on SIM2. It comes with whole bunch of new features such as Face recognition where it will unlock phone just seeing your face, Smart Stay, where the screen will be dimmed as soon as you look away from phone to save battery.

    You must be aware of the release of S4 mini with a price tag of Rs 27990. Is it worthwhile to buy at such a price?
    any other option with a budget of 25k to 30k....?
