Recently Micromax Launched most awaited phablet, Canvas HD, GadgetsFreak under took the device review for benefits our readers from the review unit...
Some of the stunning features are as follows...
- Display: 1280x720p LCD
- Processor: Quad core 1.2 GHz
- Memory: 1 GB RAM, 4GB Internal Storage
- Sensor: 8 MP rear, 2 MP Front
- OS: Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (Planned upgrade to 4.2)
- 2000 mah battery
Build Quality is very good, and it is at par with Samsung, Touch interface response is very good thanks to Quad Core processor.
Camera out come will definitely surprise you, with 8 MP camera, Micromax has really some hard work for the image processing improvement.
Internet Browsing is lightning fast.
Navigating through Menus & Play back is quick & good.
Battery lasts really long it lasts up to 1 day.

Advantages:-

- Jelly Bean OS
- Hook Up Free SMS service
Disadvantages:-
- Low internal memory out 4 GB, you will get to use only 1.7GB
- If phone hangs, with power button it's not restarting, you need to remove battery :(
- And if you are 3G user, and you need to use 2G data plan, it's not possible.
To sum it up, Micromax has done excellent job and a superior device in to your hands.
Price has been revised to Rs. 14,999/- and in black market it's available at Rs 17,500/-

Which one will you suggest between Canvas HD & Samsung Galaxy Grand?

ReplyDeleteEven neglecting the price variations, If I have to buy, I will go with Canvas HD.
(1) Canvas HD has quad core processor and Grand has dual core processor, up some extent it's true that more cores' = better battery life.

Is there any alternative of way forward if the phone gets hanged ?? Is there any solution for this hanging problem permanently ?

Hi I bought the Micromax A116 Canvas HD today. the phone is good however when i charge the phone and try to use applications or message it keeps hanging up and restarting. Is this an issue with all phones or do i need to get my handset replaced. please hel me out

DeleteI have seen atleast 3 A116 handsets and none of them have the problem you said.
(1) You can try factory reset once, and observe a day or two if this doesn't help.
(2) Go to the nearest service centre + file a written complaint on mail.
